Narrative:
After receiving clearance for takeoff; we taxied onto runway 4; stopped; applied takeoff power and began the normal takeoff procedure. Takeoff was normal and at approximately 400 ft the aircraft ingested a large bird in the right engine. The engine immediately failed. My first officer and I then declared an emergency and followed the aircraft's emergency procedures and returned to the airport and landed without further incident.
