Narrative:
At approximately 100 KTS right engine started experiencing compressor stalls. I took the aircraft from the first officer and rejected the takeoff. The first officer reported to the tower that we were aborting the takeoff and we cleared the runway and taxied back to the gate. Maintenance came out and inspected the engine and reported that a number of compressor blades were damaged and the aircraft was taken out of service.
