Narrative:
We rejected our takeoff from zbaa at 136 KIAS. Left engine overtemp gauge turned red. No tires blown. Executed rejected takeoff; engine limits; after landing and parking checklists. Remain seated PA was made but did not go out in cabin. Asked for emergency equipment but it never came. Flight attendants were an experienced crew and did an outstanding job of keeping passengers calm. I made a PA to assure the passengers that they were safe.
