Narrative:
While northbound in level flight at 3;500 feet; we were watching opposite direction traffic pass 1 mile off our left wing. As soon as he passed; we looked forward just in time to see a beechcraft bonanza be-35 cross over us on a westbound heading; going over our windshield 40 feet above us. We dived to avoid him. He never made any evasive maneuvers; indicating he probably never saw us.
