Narrative:
I was cleared for landing and the PAPI lights were showing two red and two white lights; my airspeed was between 85 and 80 knots which is the usual speed to land in an SR20. When the main wheels touched the runway the plane started skipping and the front wheel disconnected partially and the propeller blade struck the runway. I was able to get the plane back in the air to come around for a safe landing since it was not possible to come to a stop on the first landing. After landing safely I received taxi instructions to the parking area.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A SR-20 student pilot apparently flew a normal approach but after touchdown began skidding. He executed a go-around and after the second landing discovered damage to the prop and nosewheel.
