Right rev unlocked caution message illuminated through 11;000 feet during climb after departing. The crew complied with the QRH and landed at the nearest suitable airport; which was the departure airport.single engine operations could be considered a threat. However; following the QRH and utilizing CRM made this event little more than a high workload period.

Title: After takeoff; a CRJ-200 EICAS alerted R REV UNLOCKED so the QRH was complied; the engine shut down and the flight returned to the departure airport.
Narrative: R REV UNLOCKED caution message illuminated through 11;000 feet during climb after departing. The crew complied with the QRH and landed at the nearest suitable airport; which was the departure airport.Single engine operations could be considered a threat.
