Narrative:

The 'no smoking' sign was recycled to indicate final descent into bda. I went into the galley to secure and stow all equipment when the aircraft landed. Because I was not given proper notice (normally the 'no smoking' sign is recycled approximately 10 mins out). I was not able to secure the galley for landing and get to my jump seat. Both myself and the first F/a let the cockpit team know of the situation and we were told to complete a NASA form.
