Narrative:
During taxi-in ord gate kga, baggage carts behind aircraft at H8 were blown about or over. 1 engine shut down during taxi-in. We had been coming into K8 all month. Kga has small footnote advising both engines running. This was overlooked. We were unaware of problem until reaching operations. In this aircraft, this difficult taxi-in procedure requires 2 hands on the nose steering to make 2 nearly 90 degree turns. Also, the gate behind is in close proximity. In my opinion, this is a very marginal gate.
