Narrative:
While doing walkaround at sea gate X, first officer and 2 ramp workers were almost injured by jetblast from air carrier Y B737 doing xbleed start. Air carrier Y flight pushed off either gate Y or Z, and was about 2 aircraft lengths from us, with its tail pointed directly at our aircraft, when they initiated xbleed start. Blowing sand and grit ended up in first officer's eyes, and all 3 of us were forced to move away from numerous baggage carts that were starting to sway. Jetblast lasted for about 1 min. Sea ground was then notified of incident, and said it was either flight XXX from gate Y or flight YYY from gate Z (which better fit location of push). Air carrier X operations also notified. Air carrier Y ground crew obviously did not properly position aircraft during push. Sea ground did say that the air carrier Y crew did advise them of xbleed start, and did ask if there was any traffic behind them. Sea ground saw no traffic, but did not notice, at night, that they were pointed right at our aircraft. Injury and damage potential was huge.

Title: A320 FO AND 2 RAMP WORKERS WERE JETBLASTED DURING ACFT WALKAROUND INSPECTION FROM A B737 2 GATES AWAY DOING A XBLEED AIR START.
Narrative: WHILE DOING WALKAROUND AT SEA GATE X, FO AND 2 RAMP WORKERS WERE ALMOST INJURED BY JETBLAST FROM ACR Y B737 DOING XBLEED START. ACR Y FLT PUSHED OFF EITHER GATE Y OR Z, AND WAS ABOUT 2 ACFT LENGTHS FROM US, WITH ITS TAIL POINTED DIRECTLY AT OUR ACFT, WHEN THEY INITIATED XBLEED START. BLOWING SAND AND GRIT ENDED UP IN FO'S EYES, AND ALL 3 OF US WERE FORCED TO MOVE AWAY FROM NUMEROUS BAGGAGE CARTS THAT WERE STARTING TO SWAY. JETBLAST LASTED FOR ABOUT 1 MIN. SEA GND WAS THEN NOTIFIED OF INCIDENT, AND SAID IT WAS EITHER FLT XXX FROM GATE Y OR FLT YYY FROM GATE Z (WHICH BETTER FIT LOCATION OF PUSH). ACR X OPS ALSO NOTIFIED. ACR Y GND CREW OBVIOUSLY DID NOT PROPERLY POS ACFT DURING PUSH. SEA GND DID SAY THAT THE ACR Y CREW DID ADVISE THEM OF XBLEED START, AND DID ASK IF THERE WAS ANY TFC BEHIND THEM. SEA GND SAW NO TFC, BUT DID NOT NOTICE, AT NIGHT, THAT THEY WERE POINTED RIGHT AT OUR ACFT. INJURY AND DAMAGE POTENTIAL WAS HUGE.
