Narrative:
As I was assisting with the pneumatic air start I noticed engine one was running with aircraft [pneumatic] hose underneath the engine. I pointed my finger towards the lead to let him know about the engine. The lead waved both his hands in the air as if don't worry. As I disconnected the pneumatic air start; the lead walked over to disconnect the aircraft hose. Within seconds; engine one ingested the aircraft hose.
