Narrative:

Airport has an active NOTAM regarding taxiway closures along alpha for construction. Upon departing the run up area we taxied along alpha towards the departure end of runway xy. There was a piper on final during this movement; and we taxied to and held short of runway xy at the last taxiway with access to the runway while the piper completed rollout. The piper announced a back-taxi; and we requested to follow the piper and complete the back-taxi on runway xy. The piper agreed and we entered the runway to back-taxi to taxiway B. We exited the runway and held behind the piper as the number two aircraft for departure. We completed the before takeoff checklist and the crew all agreed we were ready for flight. The piper departed and we continued to hold at the hold short line until the piper called left crosswind for runway xy. We then announced via CTAF we would be departing runway xy. We cleared the final approach; obtained visual contact with the piper now turning downwind; and observed no other traffic on the runway or pattern. We then entered the runway and began to add power for a normal takeoff. After calling airspeed active and preparing for rotation at approx. 60 knots I observed a pilatus enter the runway and begin to back-taxi on runway xy towards our departing aircraft. We heard no calls on CTAF or communication prior to his movement. He had no landing or take off lights on and the aircraft was black in color. I immediately called a verbal abort to the crew; and executed the abort takeoff checklist from memory. At the same time I started communicating on CTAF that there was an active departure and that the aircraft should exit immediately. The pilatus finally acknowledged the calls and began to exit at the next taxiway directly in front of the FBO. Using moderate to heavy braking we slowed the plane to a stop within 1500 feet of the other aircraft. I was unable to use a taxiway to exit the runway due to the construction; so I was forced to back-taxi off the runway to taxiway C. The piper was forced to sidestep to the right and abort his landing. The pilatus apologized over the CTAF for the incursion. We turned back onto alpha and moved back to the hold short line at runway xy. We all agreed the aircraft was ok and no damage was suspected; observed; or indicated. We executed the before takeoff checklist again; made visual contact with the piper; on the downwind; and the pilatus holding on the taxiway. We announced our takeoff again; took the runway; and departed under normal conditions and completed the training flight.
