Narrative:

We were scheduled from ft smith to dallas on xx airlines. When the flight was announced for boarding, the passenger were met at the exit by an agent who took the boarding passes and directed us to the aircraft parked on the ramp. None of the passenger went through any type of security checks, no search of any kind was made of any passenger. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: on this particular day the metal detector security area was barricaded off and nobody was going through for any flight. We went around the detectors and out the side door with no one inspecting us. There were no inspectors in the detection area. Cannot say if this is the normal operation at ft smith but it was the norm for that day at that time.
