On takeoff in vfr condition we experienced a terrain warning due to a map shift on the nav system. There was no visual conflict with the terrain and normal takeoff was continued. No rnav departure was planned or executed.

Title: B757-200 Captain reported receiving a terrain warning after takeoff in TIST that was due to a map shift. No terrain conflict occurred.
