Narrative:

On touchdown left gear felt locked putting aircraft in slow left turn as it skidded down runway. Aircraft made contact with and broke a taxiway sign. Damage to propeller and right wing and damage to right gear, dented belly and right flap. Hole in right wing about size of fist from contact with sign, boot assembly turn near wing root. The aircraft was doing about 80-82 KTS at touchdown with full flaps. Approach had been normal, red over white on VASI. There was a 9 KT crosswind from 360 (on runway 3). I am unsure what immediately precipitated the locked or dragging brake and resulting skid, as landing appeared normal until that point.
