Narrative:
Traffic conditions were very heavy and complex with descending and climbing traffic. Mlt X was issued a climb to FL280 and handed off to ZTL and switched communications thinking pointout was accomplished. As soon as l-side noticed aircraft mlt X only out of FL220 and climbing, he immediately pointed out aircraft, however, aircraft had already penetrated the airspace.

Title: MLT ENTERED ADJACENT AIRSPACE WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION.
Narrative: TFC CONDITIONS WERE VERY HEAVY AND COMPLEX WITH DESCENDING AND CLIMBING TFC. MLT X WAS ISSUED A CLIMB TO FL280 AND HANDED OFF TO ZTL AND SWITCHED COMS THINKING POINTOUT WAS ACCOMPLISHED. AS SOON AS L-SIDE NOTICED ACFT MLT X ONLY OUT OF FL220 AND CLIMBING, HE IMMEDIATELY POINTED OUT ACFT, HOWEVER, ACFT HAD ALREADY PENETRATED THE AIRSPACE.
