Narrative:
Cruise en route V-257 southbound from bryce canyon VORTAC I was advised by ZLA on IFR flight plan to climb to 15,000' MSL. I advised we couldn't comply for oxygen reasons. I cancelled IFR at kacir intersection. I experienced radio problems at this time, and couldn't continue contact with center. I decided to be VFR and transit grand canyon sfra through dragon corridor, following V-257 until I could intercept the page VORTAC 203 degree right. After descending to 10,500' MSL about 3-5 mi north of the north rim and loosing bryce canyon VOR signal and unable to receive grand canyon VOR, I attempted picking up 203 degree with wind correction. I then lost page VOR just crossing into the canyon. I hoped I was on course for the dragon corridor but honestly I wasn't sure.
