Narrative:
Descending on the ivane 5 RNAV arrival and passing over the mayos fix. The aircraft was on autopilot 1 and in managed descent. The crossing altitudes for mayos are between FL240 and FL260. The aircraft did not initiate a level off at FL240 but continued to descend. Pilot flying intervened by selecting vertical speed zero prior to FL240; however the aircraft did go approximately 500 feet below FL240 before the descent was arrested. After crossing the mayos fix; managed descent was reselected and the aircraft continued the descent on profile with no further deviations.
