Narrative:
On the flight from apf to tpa we were initially cleared to 10,000'. After handoff to ft myers departure, we were cleared to 11,000 and read back the clearance. Upon reaching 11,000 the controller advised that we had only been cleared to 10,000. We promptly descended to 10,000. Possible miscom.
