Narrative:
The ship set bag prevented full aft and out travel of the cockpit seat. This makes it cumbersome to balance on one leg while trying to step over the center pedestal while entering and exiting the seat. It would have created a substantial hindrance in the event we had to egress the flight deck. I am curious if it is legal for the travel of the flight deck seats to be restricted by a non-permanent piece of equipment the company has placed in the flight deck.
