Narrative:
The turn from the sdz VOR 033 degree to the rdu 057 degree radial was missed. Flew 13 mi past the point before rdu approach had advised us that we missed the turn. They then gave us a heading on course. No evasive action was taken or any conflict noted at that time. We looked for the reason why the turn was missed and noted that the 067 degree radial on the obs was set in instead of the 057 degree radial for the intercept. At the time this occurred company engine trend was being performed plus setting up for the arrival with ATIS information and passenger briefing and descent checklist. It was just a little bit of over workload at this time that probably caused us not to notice that we missed the turn. In the future we will not overload ourselves and take more time in rechecking instruments.

Title: SMT ON STAR MISSET COURSE ON FLT INSTRUMENTS AND MISSED ARR INTXN.
Narrative: THE TURN FROM THE SDZ VOR 033 DEG TO THE RDU 057 DEG RADIAL WAS MISSED. FLEW 13 MI PAST THE POINT BEFORE RDU APCH HAD ADVISED US THAT WE MISSED THE TURN. THEY THEN GAVE US A HDG ON COURSE. NO EVASIVE ACTION WAS TAKEN OR ANY CONFLICT NOTED AT THAT TIME. WE LOOKED FOR THE REASON WHY THE TURN WAS MISSED AND NOTED THAT THE 067 DEG RADIAL ON THE OBS WAS SET IN INSTEAD OF THE 057 DEG RADIAL FOR THE INTERCEPT. AT THE TIME THIS OCCURRED COMPANY ENGINE TREND WAS BEING PERFORMED PLUS SETTING UP FOR THE ARR WITH ATIS INFO AND PAX BRIEFING AND DSCNT CHECKLIST.
