Narrative:
Basically, what I did was not adhere to ATC's directions during taxi on a scheduled 135 single pilot IFR operation. Taxiing at oakland int'l, I was cleared to runway 9L. I proceeded to taxi onto the runway in position for takeoff. Ground advised me to taxi off the runway. I did, and nothing ensued. What led to this incredibly stupid mistake was fatigue. After the san francisco earthquake, the FAA temporarily cut our required rest from 9 hours to 6. Taking advantage of this, my company scheduled me to the limit. This, coupled with helping out my family clean things up after the quake left me with about 9 hours of sleep in 3 days. In this state of fatigue, and when all frequencys, clrncs, and runways were reversed at oakland that day (southeast plan) due to WX, I taxied onto the runway without clearance as I was doublechking the new tower frequency.

Title: SMT CARGO PLT TAXIES ONTO RWY WHEN INSTRUCTED TO TAXI 'TO' RWY.
Narrative: BASICALLY, WHAT I DID WAS NOT ADHERE TO ATC'S DIRECTIONS DURING TAXI ON A SCHEDULED 135 SINGLE PLT IFR OPERATION. TAXIING AT OAKLAND INT'L, I WAS CLRED TO RWY 9L. I PROCEEDED TO TAXI ONTO THE RWY IN POSITION FOR TKOF. GND ADVISED ME TO TAXI OFF THE RWY. I DID, AND NOTHING ENSUED. WHAT LED TO THIS INCREDIBLY STUPID MISTAKE WAS FATIGUE. AFTER THE SAN FRANCISCO EARTHQUAKE, THE FAA TEMPORARILY CUT OUR REQUIRED REST FROM 9 HRS TO 6. TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THIS, MY COMPANY SCHEDULED ME TO THE LIMIT. THIS, COUPLED WITH HELPING OUT MY FAMILY CLEAN THINGS UP AFTER THE QUAKE LEFT ME WITH ABOUT 9 HRS OF SLEEP IN 3 DAYS. IN THIS STATE OF FATIGUE, AND WHEN ALL FREQS, CLRNCS, AND RWYS WERE REVERSED AT OAKLAND THAT DAY (SE PLAN) DUE TO WX, I TAXIED ONTO THE RWY WITHOUT CLRNC AS I WAS DOUBLECHKING THE NEW TWR FREQ.
