Narrative:
We were cleared to runway 18L, taxi via runway 27 and taxiway '5.' upon clearing runway 27 could not completely clear runway 27 due to traffic line-up in front of us. Switched to tower. Heard takeoff clearance given to another aircraft. Looked back to runway 27 and saw B-727 accelerating through 100 KTS (EST). Too late to advise tower so I pulled up as close as possible to B-727 holding in front of us. However, most of our aircraft was still on the runway side of hold line.

Title: LGT TAXIES AS INSTRUCTED BUT UNABLE TO CLR RWY DUE TO TFC LINED UP FOR TKOF. ACFT CLRED TO DEPART.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED TO RWY 18L, TAXI VIA RWY 27 AND TXWY '5.' UPON CLRING RWY 27 COULD NOT COMPLETELY CLR RWY 27 DUE TO TFC LINE-UP IN FRONT OF US. SWITCHED TO TWR. HEARD TKOF CLRNC GIVEN TO ANOTHER ACFT. LOOKED BACK TO RWY 27 AND SAW B-727 ACCELERATING THROUGH 100 KTS (EST). TOO LATE TO ADVISE TWR SO I PULLED UP AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO B-727 HOLDING IN FRONT OF US. HOWEVER, MOST OF OUR ACFT WAS STILL ON THE RWY SIDE OF HOLD LINE.
