Narrative:
CFI was distracted by student during initial climbing. My student entered the wrong traffic pattern. When I recognized it; my airplane was in left downwind leg already. It resulted the traffic alert with other traffic which was 300 feet below my airplane. ATC corrected my situation and I elected to stay above 1;900 MSL and go-around in this approach in order to avoid traffic.
