Narrative:
We were air carrier flight xx departing anc xa on sun off runway 6R on an anchorage 9 departure for nrt. After takeoff at 8 1/2 DME at 1200', departure control reported traffic at 1 mi and a southbound light aircraft appeared at our 11 O'clock position and slightly above our present altitude. The target was frozen on our windscreen so we leveled off and turned right using 30 degree bank staying just below his altitude. We turned inside the traffic (which came too close for comfort) and when past him climbed as cleared. I believe the problem is simply mixing VFR traffic with IFR traffic in that area.

Title: NMAC BETWEEN WDB ON DEP IFR IN VMC AND SMA VFR.
Narrative: WE WERE ACR FLT XX DEPARTING ANC XA ON SUN OFF RWY 6R ON AN ANCHORAGE 9 DEP FOR NRT. AFTER TKOF AT 8 1/2 DME AT 1200', DEP CTL REPORTED TFC AT 1 MI AND A SBND LIGHT ACFT APPEARED AT OUR 11 O'CLOCK POSITION AND SLIGHTLY ABOVE OUR PRESENT ALT. THE TARGET WAS FROZEN ON OUR WINDSCREEN SO WE LEVELED OFF AND TURNED RIGHT USING 30 DEG BANK STAYING JUST BELOW HIS ALT. WE TURNED INSIDE THE TFC (WHICH CAME TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT) AND WHEN PAST HIM CLIMBED AS CLRED. I BELIEVE THE PROBLEM IS SIMPLY MIXING VFR TFC WITH IFR TFC IN THAT AREA.
