Narrative:
I was flying over the local area at 500' AGL, wbound and looking at the golf course. I did not realize how fast the terrain was rising in this area. I pulled up, but may have gone below 500' AGL by the top of the hill.

Title: GA SMA CONTROLLED FLT TOWARD TERRAIN.
Narrative: I WAS FLYING OVER THE LCL AREA AT 500' AGL, WBOUND AND LOOKING AT THE GOLF COURSE. I DID NOT REALIZE HOW FAST THE TERRAIN WAS RISING IN THIS AREA. I PULLED UP, BUT MAY HAVE GONE BELOW 500' AGL BY THE TOP OF THE HILL.
