Narrative:
Flying in the lower chesapeake bay at 2;500 feet heading west. Passenger in right seat caught a glimpse of an aircraft to the right about 500 feet away and 50 feet above. Aircraft was a single engine cessna. I made a quick turn to the left and descended. Other aircraft made a climbing turn.
