Narrative:
After takeoff had multiple failures on pilots pfd and navigation display (nd). FD inoperative; speed bug incorrect; radio altitude inaccurate; predictive wind shear (pws) fail; both FD's showed 'ma' on mode control panel. Final straw was continuous warning horn (sounded like the gear horn) that was unsilencable. This horn created a distraction and made it difficult to communicate in the cockpit. We were only 15 miles north of the departure airport and decided to return. Made a normal approach and landing.the frustrating thing about this event was that there was significant repetitive log history with similar failures over the last several days that were signed off.
