Narrative:
Taxiway that runs from 'C hangars' to 'piombo' has a significant and sharp depression in asphalt near the wash rack. The depression is about one inch deep and presents a danger when taxiing; either from direct aircraft damage; or by pilots attempting to squeeze around the area where they may hit another aircraft or equipment. This has existed for several months and has been reported to airport management twice. In july 2015; [airport representative] stated in a conversation that it would be several years before the pavement is repaired as the county is unwilling to fund the repair and they are waiting for the FAA. This is a simple fix that would require one bag of asphalt; yet could cause thousands of dollars of damage to aircraft.
