Narrative:

After landing small aircraft X on 17 at hobby, tower instructed me to back taxi on 17, turn right on foxtrot and hold short of 12R for landing traffic. I repeated the instructions back to the tower. I remember thinking to myself as I passed over a hold line which appeared in my taxi lights, 'I wonder what runway that hold line is for, it's too close to be 12R's hold line'. At that moment I became aware of bright lights appearing in my left peripheral vision but not being concerned about them. Immediately tower says '(small aircraft X call sign) hold your position', in a strict loud voice, followed by '(large transport Y call sign) such and such go around'. I stopped immediately without responding on the radio. The large transport Y passed in front of me and overhead, my aircraft being at least 50' passed the hold line. Lack of sleep and extremely variable flight schedules seem to be my main antagonist on a repetitive basis as long as I operate under part 91 rules. I was so tired, that once I was on the ground, I was able to relax somewhat from my adrenaline 'high' which was all I was going on. The taxi instructions and the Y's landing lights and the hold line meant absolutely nothing to me. You actually do not realize how tired you really are (or were) until you've had another good night's sleep.

Title: SMA CORP ACFT OVERRUNS HOLD LINE AND FORCES ACR TO GO AROUND.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG SMA X ON 17 AT HOBBY, TWR INSTRUCTED ME TO BACK TAXI ON 17, TURN RIGHT ON FOXTROT AND HOLD SHORT OF 12R FOR LNDG TFC. I REPEATED THE INSTRUCTIONS BACK TO THE TWR. I REMEMBER THINKING TO MYSELF AS I PASSED OVER A HOLD LINE WHICH APPEARED IN MY TAXI LIGHTS, 'I WONDER WHAT RWY THAT HOLD LINE IS FOR, IT'S TOO CLOSE TO BE 12R'S HOLD LINE'. AT THAT MOMENT I BECAME AWARE OF BRIGHT LIGHTS APPEARING IN MY LEFT PERIPHERAL VISION BUT NOT BEING CONCERNED ABOUT THEM. IMMEDIATELY TWR SAYS '(SMA X CALL SIGN) HOLD YOUR POSITION', IN A STRICT LOUD VOICE, FOLLOWED BY '(LGT Y CALL SIGN) SUCH AND SUCH GO AROUND'. I STOPPED IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT RESPONDING ON THE RADIO. THE LGT Y PASSED IN FRONT OF ME AND OVERHEAD, MY ACFT BEING AT LEAST 50' PASSED THE HOLD LINE. LACK OF SLEEP AND EXTREMELY VARIABLE FLT SCHEDULES SEEM TO BE MY MAIN ANTAGONIST ON A REPETITIVE BASIS AS LONG AS I OPERATE UNDER PART 91 RULES. I WAS SO TIRED, THAT ONCE I WAS ON THE GND, I WAS ABLE TO RELAX SOMEWHAT FROM MY ADRENALINE 'HIGH' WHICH WAS ALL I WAS GOING ON. THE TAXI INSTRUCTIONS AND THE Y'S LNDG LIGHTS AND THE HOLD LINE MEANT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO ME. YOU ACTUALLY DO NOT REALIZE HOW TIRED YOU REALLY ARE (OR WERE) UNTIL YOU'VE HAD ANOTHER GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP.
