Narrative:
2 approach plates with same data for same approach with different minimums. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: the problem was that the flight crew still had a tailored chart from their previous employer for operating this route, but that since a merger the new air carrier did not have the lower minimums, and the published commercial chart minimums apply. First officer is not sure that the minimums were too low, but the flight crew was covering just in case a report was filed against them. The old charts have been removed and other flight crews made aware of the exposure to possible error.

Title: ACR MLG LANDED AT ROA WITH REPORTED BELOW ARPT MINIMUMS FOR LNDG.
Narrative: 2 APCH PLATES WITH SAME DATA FOR SAME APCH WITH DIFFERENT MINIMUMS. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING: THE PROB WAS THAT THE FLT CREW STILL HAD A TAILORED CHART FROM THEIR PREVIOUS EMPLOYER FOR OPERATING THIS ROUTE, BUT THAT SINCE A MERGER THE NEW ACR DID NOT HAVE THE LOWER MINIMUMS, AND THE PUBLISHED COMMERCIAL CHART MINIMUMS APPLY. F/O IS NOT SURE THAT THE MINIMUMS WERE TOO LOW, BUT THE FLT CREW WAS COVERING JUST IN CASE A RPT WAS FILED AGAINST THEM. THE OLD CHARTS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND OTHER FLT CREWS MADE AWARE OF THE EXPOSURE TO POSSIBLE ERROR.
