Narrative:
Had just been given an IFR release to depart dkx. Made takeoff call for runway 08 over airport CTAF frequency. No response heard from any other aircraft and no aircraft observed approaching either end of the runway so we proceeded with our takeoff roll. At approximately 1800 MSL on departure end an approaching aircraft claims they are on the localizer 26 which is opposite direction to our departure runway. The other pilot does not announce his position on the approach but says he will watch out for us. Knoxville departure proceeds to tell us that we have traffic at 12 o'clock one mile approximately same altitude. About the same time I observe the traffic pass approximately 200-300 feet directly below us approaching runway 26. The other pilot never reported seeing us and we did not see him until he was directly below us.
