Narrative:
I was being vectored to zzzzz for the RNAV xx into ZZZ. We were 3;000 feet MSL when the other aircraft was on a course towards us. ATC alerted us to the traffic and was also shown on our traffic page. I immediately did a right descending turn to avoid the traffic collision. The traffic headed towards us did not divert or alter their course.
