Narrative:

Instructed to land runway 29 and to take the high speed taxi to the left and to hold short. Holding short at hotel and then to proceed and hold short on uniform of 29. An air carrier heavy transport Y landed and had cleared followed by a corporate medium large transport Z. I was told to cross 29 and follow the medium large transport Z to the ramp. The medium large transport Z exiting 29 seemed very apprehensive and taxied clear onto the northeast side of uniform. I taxied behind the medium large transport Z but noticed that I was gaining ground on the medium large transport Z and would have to stop to avoid his jet blast. The medium large transport Z came to a full stop. I was still moving and there was an estimated 300' clearance. The medium large transport Z proceeded up the ramp to the intersection where it is marked by dotted or broken hash marks to ramp area. Ground had instructed me to follow the medium large transport Z to the ramp and I had confirmed. The medium large transport Z had stopped or appeared to stop when I had turned left onto a poorly lit and poorly marked island area. Noticing the medium large transport Z stopped I proceeded into the FBO ramp area around the medium large transport Z to its left to a parking spot near the gate.

Title: CORPORATE JET STOPS WHILE TAXIING ONTO FBO RAMP, REPORTER PULLS OUT AND PASSES.

Narrative: INSTRUCTED TO LAND RWY 29 AND TO TAKE THE HIGH SPEED TAXI TO THE LEFT AND TO HOLD SHORT. HOLDING SHORT AT HOTEL AND THEN TO PROCEED AND HOLD SHORT ON UNIFORM OF 29. AN ACR HVT Y LANDED AND HAD CLRED FOLLOWED BY A CORPORATE MLG Z. I WAS TOLD TO CROSS 29 AND FOLLOW THE MLG Z TO THE RAMP. THE MLG Z EXITING 29 SEEMED VERY APPREHENSIVE AND TAXIED CLEAR ONTO THE NE SIDE OF UNIFORM. I TAXIED BEHIND THE MLG Z BUT NOTICED THAT I WAS GAINING GND ON THE MLG Z AND WOULD HAVE TO STOP TO AVOID HIS JET BLAST. THE MLG Z CAME TO A FULL STOP. I WAS STILL MOVING AND THERE WAS AN ESTIMATED 300' CLRNC. THE MLG Z PROCEEDED UP THE RAMP TO THE INTXN WHERE IT IS MARKED BY DOTTED OR BROKEN HASH MARKS TO RAMP AREA. GND HAD INSTRUCTED ME TO FOLLOW THE MLG Z TO THE RAMP AND I HAD CONFIRMED. THE MLG Z HAD STOPPED OR APPEARED TO STOP WHEN I HAD TURNED LEFT ONTO A POORLY LIT AND POORLY MARKED ISLAND AREA. NOTICING THE MLG Z STOPPED I PROCEEDED INTO THE FBO RAMP AREA AROUND THE MLG Z TO ITS LEFT TO A PARKING SPOT NEAR THE GATE.
