Narrative:

Pilot controller readback misunderstanding: pilot read back crossing restriction--altimeter 29.90. Cross bronc at 11000', 250 KTS. At 11000' controller asked altitude and that we showed 500' low. Pilot informed ATC that we were at 11000' and controller gave altitude of 29.00. Controller acknowledged that readback was 29.90 by pilot and that it was the second or third time that day that this had happened to other aircraft.
