Narrative:
Due to accumulated fatigue from a trip that flies 2 duty periods in 24 hours (night, sleep day, night, sleep part of night, day-type flying), both copilot and I were really beat. We were above G/south and fast. At approximately 400, with G/south just off the peg (high), the G/south bar seemed to zoom down to a low position. First officer did a go around. We didn't have time or mental sharpness to try to figure out what happened. Second approach was better, but the obvious signs of fatigue from 'circadian desynchronosis' was obvious from the #'south and types of atypical errors made by both of us during remainder of flight. Situation could be remedied by better, more human factors planning by company to either shorten the 13-hour day following the all-nighter combination. Next trip we managed to get some rest prior to flight by getting a hotel room at the dfw for the 4 hour situation between flts.

Title: ACR MLG HAD TO MAKE A GO AROUND FROM UNSTABILIZED APCH INTO LAX WITH A 400' CEILING.
Narrative: DUE TO ACCUMULATED FATIGUE FROM A TRIP THAT FLIES 2 DUTY PERIODS IN 24 HRS (NIGHT, SLEEP DAY, NIGHT, SLEEP PART OF NIGHT, DAY-TYPE FLYING), BOTH COPLT AND I WERE REALLY BEAT. WE WERE ABOVE G/S AND FAST. AT APPROX 400, WITH G/S JUST OFF THE PEG (HIGH), THE G/S BAR SEEMED TO ZOOM DOWN TO A LOW POS. F/O DID A GAR. WE DIDN'T HAVE TIME OR MENTAL SHARPNESS TO TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED. SECOND APCH WAS BETTER, BUT THE OBVIOUS SIGNS OF FATIGUE FROM 'CIRCADIAN DESYNCHRONOSIS' WAS OBVIOUS FROM THE #'S AND TYPES OF ATYPICAL ERRORS MADE BY BOTH OF US DURING REMAINDER OF FLT. SITUATION COULD BE REMEDIED BY BETTER, MORE HUMAN FACTORS PLANNING BY COMPANY TO EITHER SHORTEN THE 13-HR DAY FOLLOWING THE ALL-NIGHTER COMBINATION.
