Narrative:

Widebody transport Y was cleared into position on runway 11L at msp following takeoff by preceding widebody transport. 30 seconds after widebody transport began takeoff roll, I was cleared by tower for takeoff. I requested 2 min turbulence delay behind widebody transport and was told in a rapid voice to clear runway to right. Right taxiway was blocked by 2 light twins, so I asked for clarification. In a voice too rapid to understand, I was asked to clear runway. I asked if I was to taxi straight and then make right turn on runway 22, but was told sharply and rapidly to turn left off runway, which I did. I was then told to 'hold position' immediately after cleared due to taxiway ahead being uncontrolled by tower. I sat with exhaust pointed right at runway 11L T/D zone while tower continued using runway, merely advising pilots of 'turbulence caution' due to our exhaust gasses. In my opinion, there was no need for accelerated speaking when asking us to clear runway. Controller was unintelligible. We should not have been expected to takeoff 30 seconds behind widebody transport X, which began the entire problem. And lastly, simply advising pilots of possible turbulence from our exhaust should not relieve controller of safe operating practices.

Title: WDB Y REQUEST FOR 2 MINUTES WAKE TURBULENCE SEPARATION CRITERION DENIED.

Narrative: WDB Y WAS CLRED INTO POS ON RWY 11L AT MSP FOLLOWING TKOF BY PRECEDING WDB. 30 SECS AFTER WDB BEGAN TKOF ROLL, I WAS CLRED BY TWR FOR TKOF. I REQUESTED 2 MIN TURB DELAY BEHIND WDB AND WAS TOLD IN A RAPID VOICE TO CLR RWY TO RIGHT. RIGHT TXWY WAS BLOCKED BY 2 LIGHT TWINS, SO I ASKED FOR CLARIFICATION. IN A VOICE TOO RAPID TO UNDERSTAND, I WAS ASKED TO CLR RWY. I ASKED IF I WAS TO TAXI STRAIGHT AND THEN MAKE RIGHT TURN ON RWY 22, BUT WAS TOLD SHARPLY AND RAPIDLY TO TURN LEFT OFF RWY, WHICH I DID. I WAS THEN TOLD TO 'HOLD POS' IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLRED DUE TO TXWY AHEAD BEING UNCONTROLLED BY TWR. I SAT WITH EXHAUST POINTED RIGHT AT RWY 11L T/D ZONE WHILE TWR CONTINUED USING RWY, MERELY ADVISING PLTS OF 'TURB CAUTION' DUE TO OUR EXHAUST GASSES. IN MY OPINION, THERE WAS NO NEED FOR ACCELERATED SPEAKING WHEN ASKING US TO CLR RWY. CTLR WAS UNINTELLIGIBLE. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN EXPECTED TO TKOF 30 SECS BEHIND WDB X, WHICH BEGAN THE ENTIRE PROB. AND LASTLY, SIMPLY ADVISING PLTS OF POSSIBLE TURB FROM OUR EXHAUST SHOULD NOT RELIEVE CTLR OF SAFE OPERATING PRACTICES.
