Approximately 30 minutes after takeoff; we had a level 1 alert: 'bat discharging'. QRH guidance read to land at nearest suitable airport. We were 45 miles from [nearest suitable airport]. We contacted [maintenance]. Informed center and landed. No emergency [situation]. No fuel was dumped.
