Narrative:
After passing abcxx intersection 'battery discharging' alert illuminated. Declared emergency; got clearance to ZZZ. Called dispatch to advise of our diversion and reason for it. Talked with maintenance. Dumped fuel to 491.5 weight; made uneventful landing. Alert was intermittent but was on more than off battery volts got as low as 30 volts.
