Narrative:
This is the third day in a row that I was told I was illegally operating a multi-engine aircraft in violation of far's. This time it was relayed through some people who have airplanes at the airport and a local flight instrument, who asked me if I was current in the airplane and if I had a current medical, to which I replied, 'yes.' he stated that a maintenance inspector of the hln FSDO had approached him and asked if I was legal. This is stupid. The inspector has access to records--why start a rumor? I have consulted a lawyer today about this. He is reviewing copies of these reports I had sent in and will consult with the authorities.
