Narrative:

While taxiing the wings struck 2'x 2' posts that were between 42 and 44' long that had been installed along the edges of the taxiways and runways scuffing and damaging the wing from the leading edge to the aileron on both the left and right wing. These posts had been recently installed; having not been on the airport property in mid october. They are installed in pairs directly across from each other on approximately 80 - 100' centers on both sides of and the entire length of the taxiways creating a virtual 'gate' that planes must taxi between.the posts present a dangerous hazard to aircraft taxiing that have wings that are less than 42' above the ground. My wingtip measured 41' from the ground to the leading edge of the wingtip approximately 12' in from the wingtip. The distance measured from the post to the centerline of the taxiway was approximately 21'. The taxiway was measured as 20' from the edge to the centerline. My aircraft wingspan with the nosewheel exactly on the center line had less than 3' clearance between the wingtip and the posts.note; that when I inspected the taxiways after securing the airplane there were several other posts that had been 'bent over' from being struck by other objects; probably another airplane; that may have also been damaged by these man installed hazards.
