Anomaly | Deviation - Procedural Clearance Ground Incursion Runway |
Narrative:
Reno ground cleared us to taxi and hold short of 16L via J. I mistakenly crossed 16L and came to stop holding at 16R. I was obviously not paying close attention to my taxi as I was setting my instrument departure into the GPS. In an attempt to expedite the before takeoff checks I was setting up the GPS; normally a function reserved for the PNF. I am very ashamed of my mistake; I am embarrassed; and I am disappointed in my airmanship and know how dangerous my mistake was. Thank god nothing bad happened as a result; other than reprimanding by the FAA and/or my own company.
