Narrative:
Company assigned myself and copilot to ferry aircraft that had experienced a tail strike from sna to lax for further evaluation of damage. Aircraft had thorough preflight and extensive skin scrape on tail section and aft galley drain mast damage was noted. All ferry flight documents appeared to be in order, and after consulting with copilot we decided aircraft was safe to fly. Flew uneventful flight sna/lax at 5000' for 19 min duration. After landing in lax and further evaluation of the aircraft,it was discovered that the aft pressure bulkhead had been buckled. Because we had not expected damage that extensive, we flew the aircraft to lax pressurized. Perhaps not a very good idea in lieu of air carrier problem with a widebody transport. Even though I think the aircraft was flown legally by being covered by far's, etc, I feel I was out on a limb knowing the damage was worse than originally explained to me, and no mention was made of the consequence of pressurizing the aircraft.
