Narrative:
While on a night visual to runway 34L at rno on a clear night with terrain clearly in sight; abeam epose at approximately 9;200 feet MSL I received a GPWS terrain warning. I immediately advanced power; raised the nose and performed the escape maneuver. The aircraft climbed 200-300 feet and the GPWS was silenced. We were able to rejoin a stabilized approach at approximately 1;800 feet AGL and we landed uneventfully.
