On our assigned arrival we briefly experienced a strong wake from aircraft ahead. On the arrival [we] had a heading deviation off arrival. We realized it as well as ATC. We immediately started correcting and were given a heading by ATC. Distraction by the wake from prior aircraft. Suggest paying more close attention to tracking of arrival points.
