Narrative:
After landing at ffz I was taxiing on taxiway bravo approaching reporting point spot 2. I saw a helicopter hovering to the right of the taxiway at approximately 50 feet over their ramp. There was an aircraft taxiing in front of me that passed by the hovering helicopter. I stopped at spot 2 and told ground control that I could hold for the helicopter. I got no answer so I proceeded to taxi since the helicopter was not over my taxi route. As I passed the hovering helicopter it started its departure passing over me and then turned to the southeast. It passed over me an estimated distance of 50 to 60 feet. It shook my airplane a little as it is a light sport qualified airplane meaning it is rather light.I figured the tower did not see me after clearing them to takeoff (I assume they cleared them to takeoff). The tower was extremely busy that day and did not see what happened nor did the ground control operator.
