Narrative:
On climbout above 10;000 feet the first officer and I noticed a vibration in the floor that was getting worse then better then worse again. At that time the flight attendant called and said 'I feel a vibration in the floor and I can see it moving'. At that time we contacted the dispatcher and maintenance and told them the situation and we all agreed to return to [our departure airport]. The threat was we had an aircraft that had a vibration and we did what we thought was the safest thing to do and bring it back to get it looked at.
