Narrative:
I flew below minimum altitude for the approach and deviation right of course. I was on the autoplt when turned inbound on the approach. I pulled back power to slow down, forgetting I was on the autoplt. The nose rose to stick shaker. I disconnected the autoplt, added power and shoved the nose over. I broke altitude. I was over-powering the trim set by the autoplt. I called a missed. Tower vectored direct smo. At small aircraft I had airport in sight and asked for visibility to 21. On the ground I was given phone # for la TRACON area manager. I'm new to both turboprops and the airplane I was flying. I forgot about the autoplt. I should never have been flying on the autoplt. I should have been hand-flying. I was stalling the plane on autoplt. I was fighting the trim set by the autoplt. I was behind the plane. I hand-flew home to a VOR 25 at sba west/O any trouble. I believe the first 50 hour hand-flight in the airplane is the best way to get the feel. Ps: TRACON area management was very nice and said he was concerned for our safety.

Title: GA PLT FORGOT THE ACFT WAS ON AUTOPLT AND APCHED A STALL WHILE BEING VECTORED FOR AN ILS APCH. PLT STARTED A GO AROUND, THEN BECAME VMC AND LANDED USING VISUAL APCH.
Narrative: I FLEW BELOW MINIMUM ALT FOR THE APCH AND DEVIATION RIGHT OF COURSE. I WAS ON THE AUTOPLT WHEN TURNED INBND ON THE APCH. I PULLED BACK PWR TO SLOW DOWN, FORGETTING I WAS ON THE AUTOPLT. THE NOSE ROSE TO STICK SHAKER. I DISCONNECTED THE AUTOPLT, ADDED PWR AND SHOVED THE NOSE OVER. I BROKE ALT. I WAS OVER-POWERING THE TRIM SET BY THE AUTOPLT. I CALLED A MISSED. TWR VECTORED DIRECT SMO. AT SMA I HAD ARPT IN SIGHT AND ASKED FOR VIS TO 21. ON THE GND I WAS GIVEN PHONE # FOR LA TRACON AREA MGR. I'M NEW TO BOTH TURBOPROPS AND THE AIRPLANE I WAS FLYING.
