Narrative:
I was working ZLC sector 7. I had just sat down when the NAS system failed. I switched to darc K and the function was tied off for more than 5 minutes. Sectors 4 and 19 did not have use of the darc. Sector 4's scope went completely blank. Similar instances happened on other sectors. Many unreported deviations could have occurred.

Title: NAS SYSTEM FAILURE AT ATC FAC.
Narrative: I WAS WORKING ZLC SECTOR 7. I HAD JUST SAT DOWN WHEN THE NAS SYSTEM FAILED. I SWITCHED TO DARC K AND THE FUNCTION WAS TIED OFF FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES. SECTORS 4 AND 19 DID NOT HAVE USE OF THE DARC. SECTOR 4'S SCOPE WENT COMPLETELY BLANK. SIMILAR INSTANCES HAPPENED ON OTHER SECTORS. MANY UNREPORTED DEVIATIONS COULD HAVE OCCURRED.
