Narrative:

We were cleared to taxi to runway 27L hold short of runway 27R. We taxied short of runway 27R and were asked by ground controller if we could accept runway 27R for departure. We replied to the affirmative. The reply was blocked by another aircraft transmission. Ground controller repeated question and we replied again to the affirmative. He then cleared us into 'position and hold' on runway 27R. We then switched to tower. Tower cleared other aircraft on final to land on runway 27R. Other aircraft stated that there was another aircraft on runway. Tower replied that he would have to see what was going on. Aircraft on final decided to go around. We were finally cleared for takeoff by tower.

Title: ACFT ON FINAL WENT AROUND DUE TO ANOTHER ACFT ON THE RWY.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 27L HOLD SHORT OF RWY 27R. WE TAXIED SHORT OF RWY 27R AND WERE ASKED BY GND CTLR IF WE COULD ACCEPT RWY 27R FOR DEP. WE REPLIED TO THE AFFIRMATIVE. THE REPLY WAS BLOCKED BY ANOTHER ACFT XMISSION. GND CTLR REPEATED QUESTION AND WE REPLIED AGAIN TO THE AFFIRMATIVE. HE THEN CLRED US INTO 'POSITION AND HOLD' ON RWY 27R. WE THEN SWITCHED TO TWR. TWR CLRED OTHER ACFT ON FINAL TO LAND ON RWY 27R. OTHER ACFT STATED THAT THERE WAS ANOTHER ACFT ON RWY. TWR REPLIED THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. ACFT ON FINAL DECIDED TO GO AROUND. WE WERE FINALLY CLRED FOR TKOF BY TWR.
