Narrative:
During departure from pdx, in compliance with company runway 20 noise abatement procedure, a right turn was commenced to 290 degrees. Pdx tower advised our flight to turn left back ot a heading of 200 degrees, and requested confirmation that we had been given the pdx 4 departure in our clearance. A heading of 200 degrees was then regained, and the flight continued routinely. Clearance: cleared to los angeles as filed via pdx 4 departure. Climb and maintain 9000'.' note: pdx 4 departure heading and company special page procedure for runway 20 required different headings after takeoff. I should have confirmed proper heading to fly, with the tower controller or clearance delivery. Company special procedures should be incorporated on the particular departure page, to eliminate any conflict such as this happening in the future.
